Before you download.

Is TipOff free?
Yes. TipOff is free to download, and the full experience — finding games, ELO, leaderboards, MVP voting — is free to use today. Team and league tools with premium options arrive later.
Do I need friends on the app to start?
No. Most players join solo. You show up to a public game, meet the regulars, and the app slowly learns who you hoop with.
Is this just for serious hoopers?
Not at all. Casual and ranked are separate modes. Casual is for showing up, getting shots, and going home. Ranked is for the nights you want them to count.
How does the ELO actually work?
Same math that ranks chess grandmasters, tuned for pickup. Beating a higher seed is worth more; dropping to a lower one stings more. It balances out fast — so one off night won't haunt you.
Which cities are live right now?
New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, Toronto, and Austin at launch. We grow city by city, based on where the waitlist gathers.
